Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Labor & Delivery for a 13-week travel contract in Colorado, requiring a CO or compact RN license and a minimum of 4 years of experience.
Details
- Family Birthplace unit within a hospital setting that recently received Pathway to Excellence Designation
- L&D scope includes OR, PACU, and postpartum couplet care
- Cares for neonates 32 weeks gestation and older, with approximately 60 deliveries per month
- 12-hour day shifts with rotating weekends
- On-call rotation is typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks, though this is subject to change
Requirements
- Active CO RN license or compact license to practice in Colorado, currently in good standing
- Minimum 4 years of RN experience required
- Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS (both must be AHA), NRP, and STABLE
- Date of birth (DOB) or Social Security Number (SSN) required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required — no exemptions
- Candidate's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include intrapartum care, OR and PACU coverage, and postpartum couplet care
- Colorado CAPS (Child Abuse Prevention System) background check is required and may take up to two weeks to obtain — apply as soon as possible
- Local candidates are not accepted; travelers must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
