Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level III NICU position requiring 1 year of specialty experience and a compact or CO RN license.

Details

• Work in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• Uses Epic for charting and documentation
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active RN license in Colorado or Compact required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, must not expire prior to start
• NRP certification required, with ACLS/PALS as appropriate for the unit
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• 1 year of NICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for neonatal patients
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy to patients and families
• Refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Returning employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
