Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of CT experience and active ARRT certification for a variable 12-hour shift assignment in Butte, MT.
Details
- CT department within a hospital setting
- Variable 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week for a total of 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT experience in a hospital setting
- Associate's degree required
- Active BLS (AHA) certification required; must not expire prior to assignment start
- ARRT (R) certification required
- ARRT (R)(CT) certification preferred
- State licensure required if applicable
- Proficiency with CT imaging techniques, protocols, and equipment operation
- Experience with contrast administration and contrast injector operation
- Proficiency with electronic imaging including image viewing, transfer, and manipulation
- Epic EMR experience required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes, including contrast-enhanced studies
- Responsible for patient identification, order verification, and patient preparation prior to each exam
- Reviews and evaluates images for quality, clarity, and accuracy to ensure all necessary anatomical structures are captured
- Administers contrast media per protocol under radiologist or physician supervision and educates patients on contrast safety
- Adheres to radiation safety guidelines, infection control protocols, and maintains a clean and safe work environment
- Maintains accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and any adverse reactions or incidents
- Assists and instructs students and other radiology technologists in exam protocols, positioning, and equipment use
- Participates in continuing education and professional development to stay current with CT technology and techniques
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
