Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Telemetry/Med-Surg unit at an acute care hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of MS/Tele experience and PA or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Acute care hospital with 230 staffed beds
- Telemetry/Med-Surg unit with ER holding experience required
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Floating within scope to like units is required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Block scheduling can be accommodated
- Charting via Epic EMR
- Local candidates within 75 miles are accepted at a different rate
Requirements
- Active PA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry RN experience required
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
- Epic EMR experience required

- RTO requests are subject to manager's discretion and must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
