Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Telemetry position at an acute care hospital in Pennsylvania, requiring at least 2 years of MS/Tele experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with 230 staffed beds
- Telemetry unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Experience with ER holding, MS/Tele, and Telemetry patient populations required
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating within scope to like units required to meet facility needs
- Block scheduling can be accommodated
- Epic EMR used for charting
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active PA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of MS/Telemetry nursing experience required
- Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Time off requests are subject to manager's discretion
- Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted but at a different pay rate
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
