Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel CT Technologist for a CT Scan unit in Plano, TX, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and a minimum of 1 year of trauma experience.

Details

• CT Scan department in an acute care hospital setting in Plano, TX
• Procedures include ER CT-Trauma, CTA, and Stroke imaging
• GE 64 Slice CT equipment
• Meditech documentation system
• 4x10 hour shifts: Monday through Thursday, 10:30 AM – 8:30 PM
• Floating required as needed
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT Scan experience with trauma experience required
• Must have active ARRT (CT) certification
• TX Radiologic Technologist license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• Must have worked in the CT Scan specialty within the last 6 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Additional Information

• Perform ER CT-Trauma, CTA, and stroke imaging studies
• Grey scrubs required
• Neat and clean hair with no extreme styles or colors; beards and facial hair must be neatly trimmed
• Nails must be clean and healthy
• Body art should be covered whenever possible; visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
