Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Denver, CO, requiring 1 year of ED experience and an active CO or compact RN license.
Details
- Emergency Department unit at an acute care hospital in Denver, CO
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
- Epic EMR used for charting
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in the Emergency Department required
- Current AHA BLS certification required — must not expire prior to start date
- ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the ED setting
- ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the ED
- Performs health teaching, counseling, therapy, and treatment supportive to patient well-being
- Executes delegated medical functions, refers patients for further evaluation, and monitors treatment plans
- Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- BSN is preferred but not required
- Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- Two references are required for consideration
