Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Denver, CO, requiring 1 year of ED experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Emergency Department unit at an acute care hospital in Denver, CO
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in the Emergency Department required
• Current AHA BLS certification required — must not expire prior to start date
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the ED setting
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the ED
• Performs health teaching, counseling, therapy, and treatment supportive to patient well-being
• Executes delegated medical functions, refers patients for further evaluation, and monitors treatment plans
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• BSN is preferred but not required
• Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
