Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg/Observation/Telemetry position in Arizona, requiring a minimum of 4 years of experience and an active AZ or compact RN license.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in Arizona
• Med/Surg unit with floating required to Observation as needed
• Adult med/surg patient population
• 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• On-call requirement included as part of this assignment
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AZ RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 4 years of RN experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications required
• Flu vaccine required — no exceptions
• Candidates must have a permanent address more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Provides med/surg nursing care to adult patients with cross-coverage to Observation
• On-call shifts are a contractual requirement of this assignment
• RTO is limited to no more than 3 days per 13-week contract
• First-time travelers are not mentioned as eligible — prior travel or strong acute care experience is expected given the 4-year minimum
