Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for an acute care Med Surg setting, requiring a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years of case management experience.
Details
- Acute care Med Surg unit in a hospital setting
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Caseload ratio of 1:35
- Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30)
- No weekend requirements
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Case Management Certification preferred
- Bachelor's Degree (BSN or related field) required
- Minimum 3 years of case management experience required
- Case management experience in an acute care setting required
- Proficiency in utilization review and denials management required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include utilization review, denials management, and coordinating care for adult and geriatric patients
- 40 hours of orientation provided
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
