Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a Level 1 Trauma Center position requiring a minimum of 3 years of OR experience and proficiency in Epic.
Details
- Work in a large OR suite of 41 operating rooms within a Level 1 Trauma Center hospital setting
- Cases include General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastics
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts (6:45–19:15) working Saturday, Sunday, and one varying weekday based on staffing needs
- Shift start times may occasionally float to 08:45 or 10:45
- Floating required to other OR units within the same health system as needed
- No on-call requirements
- Epic EMR experience required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active CO RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
- Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates who have completed a full year on assignment at this facility must wait at least one year before being rebooked
- RTO is capped at 10 days maximum for the duration of the assignment
- Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible as local candidates
