Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a high-volume academic medical center in Los Angeles, CA, requiring 3+ years of high-risk L&D experience and couplet care skills.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit at a large academic medical center in Los Angeles, CA
- High-risk patient population including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum/couplet care cases
- Circulating for NSVDs and C-Sections is required
- Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:00)
- Four weekend shifts (Friday night and/or Saturday night) required per 4-week schedule
- Floating to a sister facility's Perinatal unit is required as needed
Requirements
- Active California RN license currently in hand — pending licensure is not accepted
- Current certifications: BLS and NRP
- Minimum 3 years of L&D experience in a high-risk facility required
- Couplet care experience required
- At least one previous travel nursing assignment required
Additional Information
- Provides nursing care across the full childbirth continuum including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum/couplet care
- Experience in an academic setting is preferred
- Navy scrubs required
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
