Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level-facility in Santa Monica, CA, requiring a minimum of 3 years of trauma and adult ED experience and a CA RN license.
Details
- Work in a 21-bed Emergency Department with an average daily census of 140 patients
- Adult and trauma emergency patient population
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30), with potential for some mid/day shifts based on staffing needs
- Shifts span various days of the week, including every other weekend
- Charting performed in Epic
- No floating outside of scope required
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required (EMSA licensure not accepted)
- BSN required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a trauma and adult Emergency Department
- At least one prior travel assignment required
Additional Information
- Navy blue scrubs required
- First-time travelers may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on ER nursing experience
