Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position in Milwaukee, WI, with a minimum of 2 years of experience and the ability to float across multiple ICU specialties.

Details

• Works in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting at a hospital
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• CVICU and Neuro ICU experience preferred but not required
• Will float to Neuro ICU and Burn ICU; patient assignments will be within the candidate's skill set
• May receive Med/Surg/IMC patient assignments when needed
• May be required to float to other sites within a 40-mile radius

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or valid compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA only)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address

Additional Information

• Candidate must provide a Driver's License, 2 professional references, copies of certifications, and license/Nursys verification for consideration
• Nursys verification must be completed within 30 days prior to start
• Local candidates are accepted, but candidates living within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• COVID vaccination is not required for this position
