Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a float Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) position requiring at least 1 year of recent CT experience and the ability to work nights across multiple locations in the Brandon, FL area.

Details

• Float position covering multiple Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) CT locations across the Brandon, FL area
• Expected float schedule: Wednesdays at South Lakeland, Fridays at New Tampa, and Saturdays at Plant City locations
• 2 additional on-call shifts per month to any location
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Scheduled on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays
• Host facility has a bed capacity of 422

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience (Allied candidates must have 6 months of experience within the last 6 months)
• Active and applicable state license required if applicable
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• TNCC certification required for ER settings
• SSN (US only; no Canadian SSN) and DOB required for consideration
• Two professional references required (Florida state requirement)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates will be considered
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Radiology staff are required to wear black scrubs
• Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
• Parking is available in the parking garage (night shift may also park at Oak Field Medical Plaza across the street)
