Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Inpatient Rehab night shift position in Illinois, requiring an active IL RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Inpatient Rehabilitation unit within a hospital setting
• High neurological patient population, including stroke patients
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every third weekend required, specifically Friday and Saturday nights
• Sundays are considered part of the regular work week, with some scheduling flexibility available
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Stroke certification is a plus but not required

Additional Information

• Unit functions similarly to a medical floor, with the exception that Heparin drips are not administered
• Responsibilities include assessing patients' physical, mental, and spiritual needs and developing individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• RNs are expected to recognize and report changes in patient condition using clinical judgment
• Participation in continuing education and accurate medical record documentation is expected
