Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for a specialty hospital setting, with required Epic proficiency and inpatient acute care/case management experience.
Details
- Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30)
- 13-week contract
- Case management unit within a specialty hospital focused on neuro and cardiac patient populations
- Facility is a comprehensive stroke center
- Travelers may be floated to other Swedish campuses (Issaquah, First Hill, Ballard) if census is low
- Minimum 2 weekend days required per month, typically 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday scheduled in separate weekends
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active WA RN license or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Prior inpatient/acute care and case management experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Active RN license must be in hand at time of consideration
Additional Information
- Care coordination for neurological and cardiac patients in a specialty hospital environment
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent staff of any Providence facility (non-Swedish) must have been separated for at least 3 months before being eligible for a travel contract
- Former permanent Swedish staff are not eligible regardless of separation period if residing within 50 miles of the facility
- Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per-diem) including location and dates
- Minimal RTO is expected for this position
- Refusal to float between Swedish campuses may result in termination of the assignment
