Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a 12-week travel assignment in a split lab environment rotating between Cardiac, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology, with first-time travelers welcome.

Details

• Split lab setting rotating between Cardiac, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology departments
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Call schedule includes approximately 9–10 call shifts per 6-week schedule, including weekends
• Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed
• 12-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
• Active professional license required if applicable
• Copies of all relevant certifications required for consideration
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above; charge nurses not accepted) are highly preferred for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted
• RTO maximum of 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
• If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work those holidays with no holiday RTO permitted; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two of them
• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Travelers must have been away from all facilities within this health system for a full year before returning as a traveler
• No scheduling requests or alternate shift requests are permitted; the posted shift is firm
• Travel pairs will not be assigned to the same shift on the same unit
