Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for a day-shift, Monday–Friday contract position requiring a valid CA RN license and Cerner experience.
Details
- Hospital-based Case Management unit
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday
- Shift hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8s)
- 19-week contract
- No blocked or self-scheduling
Requirements
- Active CA RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of Case Management experience required
- At least 1 year of acute care experience required
- Specialty unit experience within the past 2 years required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam (up to 3 attempts)
- At least one supervisory/manager/director reference from within the past year, from a relevant unit
- A second reference acceptable from within 2 years (charge nurse, co-worker, or educator)
Additional Information
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
- No RTO (time off requests) permitted within the first 2 weeks of the assignment
- RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration and cannot be changed once submitted
- Candidates who were previously employed by this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- First-time travelers should verify eligibility before applying
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained will be required
