Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced travel RN for an Operating Room position specializing in neuro cases, requiring a minimum of 3 years of OR experience and a LA or compact RN license.
Details
- Hospital-based Operating Room setting
- Neuro specialty unit with additional case types including Robotics, General, and Orthopedic surgery
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:15 AM – 6:45 PM)
- On-call required for neuro cases
- Agency staff are first to float off service on slower service-specific days
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active LA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
- Extensive neuro OR case experience required
- Experience with Robotics, General, and Orthopedic surgical cases required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible
- RTO requests must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
- Upon accepting an assignment, your unit manager may assign you to an Emergency Team with an expectation to remain at the facility or serve on a relief team during an emergency event — candidates uncomfortable with this requirement should not apply
- Holiday and emergency coverage expectations are set by the immediate unit manager
