Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Hawaii, requiring ARRT(CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of acute hospital CT experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital imaging department setting
• Sub-modalities include CT and Vascular Technology
• Routine CT scans performed per radiologist protocols, with experience in MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging a plus
• Experience with venipuncture, biopsies or drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke is a plus
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Canon/Toshiba CT units and Vitrea workstation experience preferred
• 10-hour varied shifts with no on-call requirement
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute hospital setting
• Current ARRT(CT) certification required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by start of assignment — license required if applicable
• Must be able to function independently without supervision and scan per radiologist protocols

Additional Information

• All travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to the start of the assignment; this appointment is scheduled at the Hilo Employee Health office on the Friday before a Monday start
• Travelers should plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before their start date to attend the Friday Employee Health appointment
• Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved medical or religious exception is required prior to contract start; flu vaccination may be administered at the Employee Health clearance appointment
• COVID-19 vaccination required
