Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level III Trauma Emergency Department position requiring TNCC and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience, working 12-hour night shifts.

Details

• Acute care hospital emergency department setting — Level III Trauma Center
• 30 private ER rooms, including a six-room EDOU observation unit, six fast-track beds staffed with a PA, one seclusion room, and five additional monitored rooms
• Treats a broad patient population including trauma, cardiac, and neuro cases, averaging 100 patients per day
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4
• Support staff includes 5 techs during peak hours
• Charting via Allscripts Sunrise EMR; Omnicell medication system
• Schedule is three 12-hour night shifts per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AZ or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NIHSS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Emergency department experience required

• Scrubs are not provided; any color is acceptable except all black
• Orientation is 8 hours
