Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology unit, requiring ARRT certification and at least 2 years of experience.

Details

• Work in the Interventional Radiology department
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend rotation required
• On-call requirement of 6-7 days per month including 1 weekend
• 30 minute meal break per shift
• Potential to float between facilities within the health system if requested by the unit

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• ARRT certification required
• IEMA licensure required
• BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• Associate Degree in Applied Sciences required, BSN required
• Illinois license required in hand at time of consideration - emergency or pending licenses not accepted
• License required if applicable
• Skills checklist and 2 references required, with one reference from a Supervisor, Manager, or Charge RN within the last year
• All requested time off must be submitted for consideration and cannot be added afterward

Additional Information

• Perform interventional radiology procedures supporting cardiac and vascular cases
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Local candidates accepted at a local rate within a 75 mile radius
• Non-licensed direct patient caregivers not listed as eligible in the IL Healthcare Worker Registry must complete in-person fingerprinting in Illinois at least two Fridays prior to their start date
• Vaccination status must be disclosed for consideration
