Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring PCU float experience, night shift availability, and an active SC or compact RN license.

Details

• 13-week contract at a hospital-based Medical Surgical unit
• Travelers will float between Med/Surg and PCU units
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Scheduled weekdays with every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Uses Meditech EMR

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• PCU experience required
• Clean license and background history required — no hits accepted
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
