Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel CT Technologist for a freestanding emergency room setting in Charleston, SC, requiring ARRT(R)(CT) certification and at least 2 years of CT and general radiology experience.
Details
- Freestanding emergency room with 11 ED rooms located in Charleston, SC
- RAD/CT department — one technologist performs both RAD and CT duties per 12-hour shift
- Performs emergency department X-ray and CT examinations
- Equipment includes GE Revolution Maxima CT scanner and GE Tempo RAD unit
- Meditech used for documentation
- Three 12-hour day shifts per week, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Holiday coverage is required
- Potential to rotate to other shifts or facilities based on staffing needs
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT and general radiology technologist experience
- Active ARRT(R)(CT) certification required
- SCRQSA (South Carolina Radiological Quality Standards Association) certification required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
- Must be able to perform both X-ray and CT examinations
- Must have active experience in the specialty within the last 6 months
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
- License required if applicable

- This is an HCA Healthcare facility — a Level II Trauma Center known for its 24-hour emergency department and a range of specialized services
- Staff report a supportive management culture with an emphasis on teamwork and work-life balance
- Gray scrubs are required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — no local candidates will be considered
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
