Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel CT Technologist for a freestanding emergency room setting in Charleston, SC, requiring ARRT(R)(CT) certification and at least 2 years of CT and general radiology experience.

Details

• Freestanding emergency room with 11 ED rooms located in Charleston, SC
• RAD/CT department — one technologist performs both RAD and CT duties per 12-hour shift
• Performs emergency department X-ray and CT examinations
• Equipment includes GE Revolution Maxima CT scanner and GE Tempo RAD unit
• Meditech used for documentation
• Three 12-hour day shifts per week, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Holiday coverage is required
• Potential to rotate to other shifts or facilities based on staffing needs

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT and general radiology technologist experience
• Active ARRT(R)(CT) certification required
• SCRQSA (South Carolina Radiological Quality Standards Association) certification required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• Must be able to perform both X-ray and CT examinations
• Must have active experience in the specialty within the last 6 months
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• License required if applicable
