Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mobile MRI Technologist for an 11-week travel contract at a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital, requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.
Details
- Mobile MRI Tech position based at an outpatient tower within a large academic medical center
- 865-bed Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital
- Charting performed in Epic
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Holidays falling on a scheduled shift are required to be worked
- No on-call requirement
- Floating within clinical scope may be required to meet facility needs
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI Tech experience required
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
- Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Hands-on experience with Siemens MRI equipment required
- Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
- Experience with Epic EMR
- SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Previous permanent or PRN staff of this facility must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
- Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized
- Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration; approval is based on manager and unit needs
- Orientation modules are completed prior to the start date
- Teal top and black bottom scrubs required
- Travelers are assigned to an emergency response team and may be required to work during declared emergencies, including hurricanes (peak season: August–September)
- Parking is free on weekdays; a one-time $20 parking pass is required for nights and weekend access
