Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift travel contract in Mayfield, KY, requiring at least 1 year of ER experience and multiple certifications including TNCC.

Details

• Work in a 14-bed Emergency Department at a 107-bed acute care hospital
• Serves all ages — pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• On-call and float coverage required on an as-needed basis
• EMR: MedHost

Requirements

• Active RN license in KY or a compact state currently in hand
• Required certifications (AHA): BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and Handling with Care (HWC) — all must be obtained prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full time elsewhere are not eligible
• Any color scrubs are acceptable; casual wear is not permitted
