Description

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a general ultrasound position requiring 4+ years of experience, active OBMI licensure, and ARDMS registration in both Abdomen and OB/GYN.

Details

• Hospital-based general ultrasound unit
• Must be able to perform OB ultrasound in addition to general sonography
• Variable swing/graveyard shift times ranging from 12:00 PM to 5:30 AM
• 4x10 hour shifts
• May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rates — no radius restriction applies

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Prior travel experience required
• ARDMS registration in both Abdomen and OB/GYN required
• Active Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license required (permanent or temporary); no pending licenses accepted — license required if applicable
• BLS certification from the AHA required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Ability to operate advanced ultrasound equipment, computer systems, film processors, and related devices
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography preferred
