Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with GE CT scanner experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level I Trauma Center and Stroke Center in West Virginia.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting within a fast-paced CT department featuring 2 GE 128-slice scanners
- Level I Trauma Center and designated Stroke Center
- Major teaching hospital and member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH)
- 838 total staffed beds
- 3x12-hour shifts with a Friday/Saturday/Sunday weekend rotation (e.g., Friday 10:00 AM–10:30 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, Sunday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM)
- Every other weekend required
- No call or on-call requirements
- No floating requirements
- Charting performed in Cerner
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience preferred
- Current BLS and ARRT (R) certifications required
- Valid West Virginia state license required to start; pending WV license accepted during consideration
- Experience with GE CT scanners, Fuji PACS, and/or Cerner strongly preferred — at least one of these is required
- License required if applicable
- Two professional references required for consideration
- PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered provided they have experience with GE CT scanners, Fuji PACS, or Cerner
- Caribbean blue scrubs required
- Free parking available for travelers
