Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment at an outpatient clinic and inpatient setting in Carlsbad, NM.

Details

• Outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital setting; inpatient is the more pressing need
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8am–6pm, Friday 8am–12pm, and one Saturday per month
• 13-week contract
• No on-call requirements
• EMR: ReDoc/NetHealth and MedHost

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent PT experience required
• Both inpatient and outpatient experience required
• Current NM PT license required; pending NM licensure will be considered if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Fingerprinting required for all travelers working in New Mexico

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient evaluation, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing techniques to reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• RTO requests must be for less than one full week
• Scrubs of any color are accepted
• License required if applicable
