Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Tech) for a 13-week night-shift contract in New Jersey, requiring ARRT certification and 1-3 years of X-Ray experience.
Details
- Hospital radiology department setting
- Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM (evening/night shift)
- 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- One on-call shift required every 3 weeks
- Epic EMR (charting experience applicable)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician
- Graduate of an accredited radiography school
- Active NJ State RT License (license required if applicable)
- Current ARRT certification
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency with a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Perform imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
- Maintain equipment and assess patient safety, comfort, and physiological needs throughout procedures
- Monitor and coordinate daily imaging procedures, including identifying needs for procedure revisions
- May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital
- Travelers who have been on assignment at this facility for one calendar year must take a 30–60 day break before starting a new assignment
