Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel X-Ray Technologist with 1+ year of experience for a 13-week assignment at a 60-bed acute care hospital in McMinnville, OR.
Details
- Position is located in a Diagnostic Radiology department at a 60-bed acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission and certified as an Accredited Chest Pain Center
- Facility is a Level III Trauma center with a 24-hour Emergency Department
- Patient population includes all ages with a wide variety of exams
- Primary work involves general X-ray and surgical C-arm cases; no neuro or IR
- Equipment includes GE Definium Collapsible Tower DR portables, GE XR 646 rooms, GE P500 Fluoro, and OEC C-Arms
- EMR is Meditech; PACS is McKesson/Change Healthcare
- Shift is Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM
- 36-hour work week
- Weekend rotation of 1 in 4 (Saturday and Sunday)
- On-call shifts available for C-arm coverage
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in general X-ray and OR/surgical C-arm
- ARRT certification required
- Current BLS (AHA) required
- Oregon state license required if applicable
- National Registry must be in good standing
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Fluoroscopy experience is preferred; light procedural load with no interventional radiology
- Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
- Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
- Light blue scrubs are required when working in the OR; any color scrubs are acceptable otherwise (light blue scrubs provided by the facility if needed)
