Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week assignment at an inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) in Chandler, AZ, specializing in neurological, orthopedic, and complex rehab patient populations.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) with 50 beds serving an adult patient population
• Therapy department with OT/PT staff overseeing approximately 9 patients per therapist for team conference reporting
• Patient populations include neurological rehabilitation, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke rehabilitation, amputation, and orthopedics
• Specialized equipment includes In-Motion, Synaptic, EKSO, and VR systems
• EHR systems include UDS and Cerner
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM shift; 36 hours per week
• One weekend shift required per month (Saturday or Sunday), totaling 8 weekend hours
• Ability to float to a Gilbert, AZ location (approximately 15 minutes away) based on census needs

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of OT experience required
• Experience in adult, SNF, IRF, or acute care settings required
• AHA certifications required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active OT license required if applicable

Additional Information

• Participate in team conferences and provide comprehensive OT services across a diverse rehabilitation caseload
• Maroon scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• 13-week contract assignment
