Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and at least one prior travel assignment for a 13-week cardiac cath lab contract.
Details
- Work in a hospital-based cardiac catheterization lab
- Procedures include interventional cath, cardiac stent placement, right and left heart catheterization, Rotablader, thrombectomy, PCI, PTCA, and balloon angioplasty
- Preferred procedures include Watchman, Impella insertion, and TAVI/TAVR
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- 1–2 weeknight call shifts (Monday–Friday) per week and one 3–24 hour weekend call shift per month
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience required
- Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
- BLS and ACLS required
- CCI RCIS or ARRT (R) certification required
- Maryland state license required if applicable (required for candidates holding ARRT certification)
- Proficiency in interventional cath, cardiac stent placement, scrubbing, right and left heart catheterization, Rotablader, thrombectomy, PCI, PTCA, and balloon angioplasty
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel pay rates
- Perform a wide range of interventional cardiac procedures in a fast-paced, high-acuity cath lab environment
- Must be a collaborative team player comfortable in a high-paced environment
- Weekly orientation provided
- Scrubs provided
- Any time-off or scheduling requests must be submitted upfront
