Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position at an acute care hospital in Sanford, NC, requiring at least 1-2 years of MS/Tele experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Details

• Work on a 24-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit at an acute care hospital in Sanford, NC
• Serves a mixed patient population across all age groups
• Charting is performed in Cerner
• 13-week contract with a night shift schedule (7P–7A)
• 36 hours per week with every-other-weekend coverage
• Floating required on an as-needed basis
• On-call responsibilities required on an as-needed basis

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), CPI/HWC/MAB, and NIH Stroke Scale — all must be AHA-issued and in hand prior to start
• Minimum 1-2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Travelers may wear scrubs of any color of their choosing; casual wear is not permitted
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Full-time employment elsewhere is not permitted during this assignment
