Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist with neuro experience and a current CA license for a 58-bed inpatient acute rehab program.
Details
- Inpatient acute rehabilitation setting with a 58-bed program
- Large team environment treating a complex patient population
- Specialization in CVA, brain injury, SCI, cancer rehab, and complex orthopedic cases
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM), Monday through Friday
- Includes 2 full weekends per month
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Current, active California OT license required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of OT experience required
- Acute inpatient rehabilitation experience required
- Neuro experience required
- Current BLS certification (AHA-issued) required in hand at time of consideration
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
- Copies of all certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
- Former employees or travelers must have been away from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
