Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for night shift at a Level III Trauma Center, with first-time travelers welcome and Cerner experience required.
Details
- Works in a CT department serving a wide variety of cases from a Level III Trauma Center ED
- Daily caseload of approximately 160 cases
- Procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
- Contrast administration is required
- Preferred experience includes outpatient, Level I Trauma, teaching hospital, pediatric settings (NICU/PICU), IV starts, phlebotomy, biopsies, aspirations/drainage, and myelography
- GE scanner/equipment experience preferred
- Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Travelers may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate facility
Requirements
- Current BLS and ARRT (CT) certification required; AHA and RQI certifications are accepted and must be current
- Minimum 18 months of CT Technologist experience required
- Experience in inpatient, ER, and community hospital settings required
- Adult ICU experience required
- Proficiency with PACS required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Indiana state license or Compact License required if applicable
- 2 supervisor references required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration

- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates (Indiana residents) are accepted at a modified pay package for this Allied position
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
- Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- Former permanent or PRN employees of this facility must have been away for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
- Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within this health system are required to take a consecutive break to reset eligibility — out-of-state residents require a 90-day break, and in-state residents require a 180-day break
