Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient orthopedic setting in Champaign, IL, with experience in manual therapy and vestibular rehabilitation.

Details

• Outpatient orthopedic clinic setting treating adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Patient caseload of 9–11 visits per day
• Conditions treated include ACL tears, rotator cuff injuries, disc herniation, generalized low back pain, meniscus tears, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, fractures/stress fractures, postural dysfunction, calf strain, post-operative back pain, and headache
• Vestibular therapy and manual therapy are performed in this role
• Sessions are scheduled in 30-minute blocks, with appointments lasting 1–1.25 hours
• Uses NextGen EHR

Requirements

• Current PT license required if applicable
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy required
• Proficiency in manual therapy and vestibular rehabilitation required
• Experience with fall risk assessment and musculoskeletal evaluation required
• Skills in case management and caseload screening/building required
• Business casual attire required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of a diverse outpatient orthopedic caseload across age groups
• First week consists of a full block schedule to allow for a gradual ramp-up
• Contract has strong potential to extend for the right candidate
