Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Orthopedic Bone & Joint night shift position requiring an active Illinois RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Orthopedic Bone & Joint unit within a hospital setting
• Adult med-surg and orthopedic patient population
• Night shift schedule
• Floating to clinically appropriate units may be required within the clinician's scope of practice, licensure, and demonstrated competencies
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license currently in hand
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing patients' physical, mental, and spiritual needs and developing individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Utilizes clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
• Maintains complete and accurate medical records and meets Core Measure responsibilities
• Provides patient and family education, instructions, and explanations as needed
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
