Description
American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with Level 3 Nursery experience for a day shift position in a hospital respiratory/neuro diagnostics unit requiring NICU and C-section support capabilities.
Details
- Hospital-based Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
- Level 3 Nursery and NICU patient population
- Intra-hospital patient transports required
- Day shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Schedule is 4x12-hour shifts with a preference for 48 hours per week; 36/48 rotating schedule also considered
- Every other weekend required
- 2 Fridays scheduled per 4-week rotation
- No on-call required
Requirements
- CRTT or RRT certification required
- Active Louisiana (LA) state license required (license required if applicable)
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NRP
- Level 3 Nursery experience required
- Must be able to attend C-sections
- Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be listed and explained
Additional Information
- Perform respiratory therapy services across inpatient units including the NICU
- Conduct intra-hospital patient transports as needed
- Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be considered
- RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the assignment
