Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level 3 Nursery experience for a day shift hospital position requiring the ability to attend C-sections and perform intra-hospital transports.
Details
- Hospital-based Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
- Level 3 Nursery setting with NICU responsibilities
- Intra-hospital patient transports required
- Must be available to attend C-sections
- Day shift, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM, on a rotating 36/48-hour weekly schedule (3x12 or 4x12 hours)
- Every other weekend required
- 2 Fridays worked per 4-week schedule
- No on-call required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- CRTT or RRT credential required
- Active Louisiana (LA) RT license required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP (required for NICU work)
- Level 3 Nursery experience required
- Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory therapy services across hospital units including NICU and delivery/C-section settings
- RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment
