Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level 3 Nursery experience for a day shift hospital position requiring NICU competency and the ability to attend C-sections.

Details

• Hospital-based Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Level 3 Nursery and NICU patient population
• Must be able to attend C-sections
• Intra-hospital patient transports required
• Day shift, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, with a 4x12-hour schedule preferred; 36/48 rotating schedule may be considered
• Every other weekend required
• 2 Fridays worked per 4-week schedule
• No on-call required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• CRTT or RRT credential required; pending LA license may be considered for August starts
• Active LA license required if applicable
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP (NRP required for NICU work)
• Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

• Perform respiratory therapy services across the unit, including attendance at C-sections and intra-hospital transports
• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the assignment
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be considered
