Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications, with night shift availability and every-other-weekend commitment.
Details
- Neuro ICU setting within a hospital environment
- Patient ratio of 1:2-3 in the Neuro ICU
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Every other weekend (2 weekends per month) required
- Floating is required for this position
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active TN or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
- Prior Neuro ICU experience required
Additional Information
- Orientation is bi-weekly and offered on an auto-offer basis
- RTO will not be accommodated during holidays or holiday weeks, including: Valentine's Day, Local Spring Break, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Local Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day; travelers may discuss holiday RTO directly with the manager after arriving onsite
- Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible but at a reduced pay rate compared to travelers
