Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Structural Heart Cardiology position requiring 2+ years of care coordination experience, Epic proficiency, and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Position is based in a Structural Heart unit within a hospital setting
• This role is less patient-facing than a typical RN position, with a primary focus on administrative care coordination duties such as referrals and follow-ups
• Structural heart and cardiac background is preferred but not required
• 10-hour day shifts, with 8:00 AM–6:00 PM hours highly preferred; 8-hour or 12-hour shifts may be considered
• 40 hours per week
• No nights, no weekends, and no holiday coverage required
• Floating is not required
• Epic EMR experience is required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a care coordinator role required; 4+ years highly preferred
• Triage experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Strong computer skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Previous travel experience is not required

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include coordinating care for patients on the Structural Heart unit, including referrals and follow-ups
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• COVID vaccine with booster and flu vaccine required; medical exemptions are accepted
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration
• Candidates who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health (travel, permanent, or per diem) within the last 6 months are not eligible — a 6-month separation from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility is required
