Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel CT Technologist / Rad Tech for a 13-week assignment at a freestanding emergency department, performing CT and X-ray exams with at least 1 year of recent experience required.

Details

• Freestanding emergency department (FSED) setting with 12 beds
• CT and X-ray exams performed, including CT for stroke patients, CT post-processing, and all standard CT and X-ray exams
• 1 technologist per shift
• Equipment includes GE Tempo, GE Maxima CT, and AMX
• Documentation systems: Meditech and GE Centricity PACS
• 3x12 hour day shifts, Thursday through Saturday, 5:45 AM – 5:45 PM
• Option to pick up extra shifts at other FSEDs or the main hospital

Requirements

• ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (CT) preferred
• CPR certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• At least 1 year of recent CT and X-ray experience preferred; allied candidates must have 6 months of experience within the last 6 months
• Proficiency in CT, X-ray, and CT post-processing
• Experience with CT imaging for stroke patients
• License required if applicable
• Two professional references required for Florida candidates
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform all CT and X-ray exams, including CT imaging for stroke patients and CT post-processing
• Professional and empathetic patient interactions are expected
• Black scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
