Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehab assignment requiring at least 2 years of experience and a minimum of one prior travel assignment.
Details
- Inpatient rehab unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Patient diagnoses include orthopedics, transplant, med/surg, neurology, and ICU cases
- Required clinical skill areas include cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, neurology, oncology, and orthopedics
- Full-time, 40-hour work week on day shifts
- Alternating 8-hour shifts: 7:00–15:30 or 10:30–19:00
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
- Acute care hospital experience preferred
- At least 1 prior travel assignment required
- Current BLS certification required
- Active state PT license required if applicable
- Experience with cardiopulmonary, geriatric, neurological, oncological, and orthopedic patient populations required
Additional Information
- Flu vaccine required for all staff at this facility
- Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- Any time off or scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at the time of consideration
