Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehab assignment requiring at least 2 years of experience and a minimum of one prior travel assignment.

Details

• Inpatient rehab unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Patient diagnoses include orthopedics, transplant, med/surg, neurology, and ICU cases
• Required clinical skill areas include cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, neurology, oncology, and orthopedics
• Full-time, 40-hour work week on day shifts
• Alternating 8-hour shifts: 7:00–15:30 or 10:30–19:00
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• Acute care hospital experience preferred
• At least 1 prior travel assignment required
• Current BLS certification required
• Active state PT license required if applicable
• Experience with cardiopulmonary, geriatric, neurological, oncological, and orthopedic patient populations required

• Flu vaccine required for all staff at this facility
• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
