Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring flexibility across multiple surgical service lines, including weekend and call availability.
Details
- Hospital operating room (OR) setting
- Supports multiple surgical service lines including General, Neuro, Ortho, and Robotics
- Day/evening shift: 09:00–21:30
- Weekend availability required
- On-call responsibilities required
Requirements
- Active SC or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- ACLS certification required (AHA only)
- Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience required
- Flexibility to work across multiple surgical specialties
Additional Information
- Performs all circulating duties including OR setup, patient positioning and preparation, and Safe Surgery checklist verification
- Serves as communication liaison between the surgical team and patient families
- Assists with supply and equipment control and maintenance
- Delegates and supervises other team members while managing urgent or emergent situations as needed
