Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring a minimum of 1 year of radiology experience and ARRT registration.

Details

• CT Scan department at an acute care hospital setting
• Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric
• Tuesday and Friday shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, with every other Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
• Charting performed in Epic
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of radiology experience required
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT registration — RT(R) or RT(N) required; ARRT CT registry preferred (if not held at time of hire, must be obtained within one year)
• Active MA license required — MA Conditional Licenses not accepted; license required if applicable
• BLS certification required (AHA only — Red Cross not accepted at this location)
• Ability to perform IV insertions and removals
• Must be able to work with patients ranging from newborn to geriatric
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Performs a variety of CT procedures under the direction of a qualified physician, technical specialist, and CT Operations Manager using prescribed levels of ionizing radiation
• Operates imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images of specified body parts
• All procedures performed in accordance with federal, state, local, and hospital policies
• Candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local and may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• Time is tracked using UKG/Kronos
• Parking is not validated at Boston-area locations; public parking lots are available at candidate expense
