Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Tucson, AZ, requiring circulating experience and proficiency with robotic, general surgery, GYN, and urology cases.
Details
- Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting in Tucson, AZ
- Evening shift: 2:30 PM – 11:30 PM, 5x8-hour shifts per week
- 13-week contract
- Call requirements include approximately 4–5 weekday call shifts and 2–3 weekend call shifts (7a–7p or 7p–7a) per month, subject to change based on department staffing levels
- Must be available to return to the hospital within 30 minutes of a callback
- EMR: Cerner
- Scrubs provided by the facility
Requirements
- Active AZ RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required (must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
- Minimum 1 year of recent OR experience required
- Circulating experience required
- Experience with robotic surgery, general surgery, GYN, and urology cases required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
Additional Information
- Provide circulating RN care across general OR cases including robotic, GYN, and urology procedures
- Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
- RTO requests must be for less than one full week
- All certifications must remain active through at least the first 30 days of the assignment
