Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Trauma Care Stepdown/PCU position requiring 2+ years of specialty experience and NIH Stroke certification.

Details

• Trauma Care Stepdown (PCU) unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a PCU/Trauma Stepdown setting
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC, not expiring within 30 days of start
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry and stepdown level nursing care to trauma patients
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered if experience requirements are met
