Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health position in the Franklin/Macon County, NC area, requiring at least 2 years of home health and/or hospice experience and a valid NC or compact RN license.

Details

  • Home health setting serving the Franklin/Macon County, NC area
  • Caseload of 5–6 patient visits per day, with approximately 100 patients in the branch
  • Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • On-call rotation is required every 6–7 weeks for one week, covering nights (5:00 PM–8:00 AM) and the associated weekend; no night visits are made from this office
  • Documentation system: HCHB (Homecare Homebase)
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active NC or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent home health and/or hospice nursing experience required
  • US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
  • One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
  • Reliable personal vehicle required for patient visits
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Nurses are expected to wear navy blue or navy/white scrubs
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
  • Conduct home visits and provide nursing care to patients across the assigned territory
